God's plan for becoming a Christian:

1. Hear the gospel of Christ
(Romans 10:13-17)
2. BELIEVE in Christ
(Mark 16:15-16)
3. REPENT of past sins (ACTS 2:36-47)
4. CONFESS faith in Christ
(Romans 10:9-10)
5. BE BAPTIZED into Christ (Acts 22:16; I Peter 3:21)
6. Live FAITHFULLY (Romans 12:1-2)

The church of Christ:

1. The Bible is its only guide (Romans 1:16;
I Thess. 2:13)
2. Wears a Biblical Name (Romans 16:16)
3. Established at the right place
(Isaiah 2:2, 3;Acts 2)
4. Established at the right time
(Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2)
5. Established on the right person (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:36)
6. Saved are in it (Ephesians 5:23;
Acts 2:47)
7. Its members are enrolled in heaven (Hebrews 12:23)
8. Membership in it is obtained by obedience to God's commands including baptism (Acts 2:41-47; I Cor. 12:13)

     From Interstate 35:

  • Hwy 53N is currently under construction (which would be the normal route); heading north on I35 take the 27th Ave. West exit and turn left.

  • Turn Right on 3rd Street and proceed to 24th Ave. West.

  • Turn left on 24th Ave. West and then continue to the first controlled intersection (i.e. with stop signs); this intersection is called "six corners" because several streets intersect here.

  • Travel along Piedmont until you reach Chambersburg Ave.

  • Turn Right on Chambersburg Ave. and the church building will be to your immediate right.

  • The approximate time to travel from the interstate to the church building is 12 minutes. Please note that the map below does not show this route because this is a temporary situation due to construction.

      From the Miller Hill Mall:

  • From Hwy 53, in front of the mall, head south-east (toward downtown Duluth), continue on Hwy 53 (notice it turns right next to Perkins restaurant) until you reach Anderson Road.

  • Turn Right on Anderson Road and proceed to Chambersburg Ave.

  • Turn Left on Chambersburg Ave. for about 3/4 mile

  • The church building will be on your left just before the first controlled intersection (i.e. with stop signs).
